A group of six Isle of Wight printmakers have brought an energetic collection of prints together in the aptly named ‘Printmakers’ exhibitions starting today (Thusday, May 4).

The exhibition covers a variety of artistic printing techniques, and all work will be available to purchase.

Each artist showcases a selection of framed and unframed prints offering a richly crafted exhibition.

  • Rachel Andrews’ nature inspired linocuts
  • Fran Farrar’s copper etchings and collagraphs
  • Vicky Fellows’ collagraphs and monotypes reflecting the geometric urban environment
  • Karen Mead’s linos and etching, which explore the narrative around walkers on the seafront from Gurnard to Cowes
  • Margaret Moore’s monotypes and photo transfer etchings
  • Lyndy Moles’ experimental, multidisciplinary work inspired by the natural world.

All the printmakers will be at the free-to-visit exhibitions to chat about their practice, open daily between 10am – 4pm (Saturday 1pm – 4pm).
