It was all eyes to the skies as Isle of Wight Festival goers were treated to a spectacular drone light show last night (Sunday).
A first for the festival, the sky above Newport was lit up with choreographed groups of drones.
They were illuminated and arranged in various aerial formations above the Big Top.
The Isle of Wight, a red squirrel and a butterfly were among the images being beamed into the sky.

Speaking about the drone light show before the event, festival founder John Giddings said: “I met the organisers in Australia last November and asked them to come and promote the Isle of Wight Festival.
“They said sure, so always look over the Big Top at the end of the show.”
Of course, as with most years, a firework display also followed.
Robbie Williams and Manic Street Preachers were among the headline acts to perform yesterday.
Earlier today the Let Me Entertain You singer said the festival was 'one of the gigs of his life'.
