To mark the beginning of the Law Year, a traditional legal service and procession was held in Northwood on Monday morning (9).
A procession was led from Northwood House to the nearby St Mary the Virgin Church by court official Trisha Dennes.

Isle of Wight Lord Lieutenant Susie Sheldon, Isle of Wight High Sheriff Dawn Haig-Thomas and Under Sheriff April Newton also attended.
Representing the police was superintendent, Rob Mitchell.
Vice Chair of the Isle of Wight Council, Cllr Karl Love, was there for the local authority.
Representing the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court was chairman of magistrates Keith Jones. Circuit Judge Michael Bowes KC also took part.
Others in the procession included Paul Swift from HMP Isle of Wight and past president of the Isle of Wight Law Society Nick Gurney-Champion.
The procession usually goes from the Isle of Wight Law Courts to Newport Minster, but the church is currently undergoing refurbishment works.
