Motorists are being warned that traffic is slow in Brading as a main access route has been closed.

Due to a water leak, New Road has been closed today (Sunday).

This is on top of Morton Road being closed since it was flooded last week.

Access from Sandown to Brading is therefore restricted to Yaverland, which is seeing heavy traffic. From Yarbridge Cross, there is still no direct access to Brading.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes and try to avoid the area if possible.
