An appeal for witnesses has been launched after an assault in Ventnor last Saturday (November 12).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to Pound Lane, just after 2.30pm, where a man aged in his 50s was found to have a serious leg injury.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and they have been bailed with conditions until February 13.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist the investigation.
