POLICE have closed a busy road in a major Isle of Wight town following a road traffic incident.

The accident, which happened in Ryde this afternoon (Saturday), is blocking East Hill Road.
Police have closed the road while they deal with the incident.
It is not known if there were any injuries to drivers and/or passengers.
