Ryde Town Council (RTC) has thanked its contractors, NDL Event Power Solutions, who were able to swiftly address the repair of the tree lights.

Some lights could be repaired, while others had to be replaced.

A spokesperson for RTC said: “It’s disheartening to witness any vandalism affecting Ryde’s community assets.”

The issue is under further investigation, and Cllr Karen Lucioni is asking if anyone saw what happened.
