EMERGENCY services have attended a crash involving two cars at a busy junction on the Isle of Wight this morning (Thursday).
Police and the ambulance and fire services attended the collision at the junction of Mill Hill Road and Victoria Road in Cowes .
Emergency calls were received at 9.21am.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service sent out an appliance from Newport and Cowes to the scene.
No extracation of the occupants of the vehicles was necessary, a fire service spokesperson said, with crew carrying out scene safety.
It is not known at this stage if there are any casualties.
Diversions are currently in place.

UPDATE 11.20AM: Police say it was a "damage only" collision, with no reports of any injuries and one vehicle being recovered.
