The Lidl store on River Way in Newport has been closed for 'unforeseen circumstances'.
It is understood that high winds damaged the roof above the main entrance, with the Lidl sign left leaning up against the structure.

Shoppers have been forced to turn around, as the store's car park has been blocked with wooden pallets.
A notice stapled to a pallet reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances this store is closed, apologies for any inconvenience caused."
Storm Isha brought strong winds to the Island on Sunday and into today, with the Met Office issuing an amber weather warning.
A Lidl spokesperson told the County Press: "As a precautionary measure, the store temporary closed while remedial repairs were carried out but the store is back open and trading as normal."
