A crash near a crossroads on a main Isle of Wight road is causing traffic delays this morning (Tuesday, January 23).

Police were called at 9.33am to reports of a road traffic accident on New Road, near the Yarbridge traffic lights in Brading.

The collision involved three vehicles.

Officers are currently on the scene dealing with traffic control whilst emergency teams deal with the incident.

Sgt Radford, Isle of Wight police, has warned motorists to expect delays in the area.

Southern Vectis routes two and three are diverting via Yaverland, Sandown Rd, Steyne Rd, Forelands Rd, Embankment, Station Rd And Carpenters Rd until further notice.
