For the first time in more than three decades, an Isle of Wight town centre shop has a new name above it.
Salon and barbershop, Odessey's Academy, has moved into the former home of Tri-First, Newport.
After more than 30 years, the store, which sold cards and posters, among other items, closed suddenly in September last year.
Odessey's opening marks a new era for the Pyle Street building.

Owned by Charlotte Kingsland, the business has been described as "a destination where style meets tradition".
She said: "We have carefully curated a team of talented stylists and barbers to provide our clients with unparalleled service.
"Our goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, pampered, and leaves looking and feeling their absolute best."
Odessey's Academy boasts a team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering personalised experiences.
The business is also committed to creating a community hub for beauty enthusiasts and professionals alike.
The salon and barbershop will host events, workshops, and collaborations, fostering a sense of camaraderie among Newport's grooming aficionados.
