An Isle of Wight photographer has been shortlisted for a prestigious award for his picture of Pulp's Jarvis Cocker performing at Isle of Wight Festival 2023.

Paul Blackley is up for a SO.CO award in the Image of Music category.

Paul said he was not allowed to be in the pit at last year's event but this did not deter him from getting the iconic shot of the Friday night headliner.

He said: "It had been suggested it was easier to go to the left of the stage as it was easier to get to the front but I decided to try and be a central as possible.
