As schools break up for half-term and Isle of Wight parents continue to feel the pinch of the cost-of-living crisis, several restaurants and supermarkets are offering discounted meals for children.

Whether it’s kids eat free or kids eat for a £1, a number of businesses are taking part in initiatives to help support families.

The County Press has put together a handy list of just some of those places (that we know of)…

Morrisons, Newport and Lake

Both Lake and Newport Morrisons are offering a kids eat free initiative this half-term.

The only condition is an accompanying adult must have a meal of the value of £4.50 or over.

Beefeater, Newport

At Beefeater, Medina Quay, Newport, kids eat free at breakfast.

There are also other deals available in house to ensure parents can keep the little ones entertained without breaking the bank.

The Crab, Shanklin

All day, every weekday during February half-term, little ones can dine for free when an adult meal is purchased.

The Greene King pub is offering the deal from Monday February 12 to Friday February 23.

The Phoenix Café, Gurnard

Children under 10 eat for £1 this half-term at The Phoenix Cafe, Gurnard.

The deal is conditional on the purchase of an adult meal.

Sainsbury's, Newport

In Sainsbury's cafe, Newport children can enjoy a hot main meal or lunch bag for £1, with the purchase of an adult hot main meal from £5.20.

Asda, Newport

At Asda, Newport, kids eat for £1 .

The deal applied all day, every day and for children under 16 only.

Dunelm, Newport

Kids can eat free at the Pausa cafe in Dunelm, Newport.

A free mini meal deal is offered for every £4 spent by an adult.

Sloop Inn, Wootton

Visit The Sloop Inn, Wootton Monday to Friday from February 12 until February 23 and get a kid’s main or breakfast for just £1 when you buy an adult main or breakfast. 

The Sun Inn, Calbourne

At the Sun Inn, Calbourne, kids under 12 eat for £1 with the purchase of any adult meal.
