A public will be held today (Tuesday, May 14) to update residents on Ventnor's Eastern Esplanade and Leeson Road closures.
Hosted by the Isle of Wight Council, the meeting will take place at St Catherine’s Church from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Although tickets for the event have all been snapped up, the County Press will be blogging live from the meeting.
The meeting will include an update on the reopening of the Eastern Esplanade later this month and the next steps for Leeson Road following the installation of specialist monitoring equipment.

The agenda also includes an update on the Environment Agency’s Ventnor coastal programme as well as an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
At the previous meeting on February 29, residents discovered that Leeson Road would not reopen for vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians until further monitoring had been carried out.
Monitoring is now in place.
Residents were able to submit questions in advance to the council.
