Northern Lights seen clearly over the Isle of Wight in photos

The stunning scenes of pinks, greens and purples in the sky could be seen from across the Island, from Ventnor to Cowes.

The phenomenon is being spotted as far south as the Isle of Wight due to a rare and intense solar storm.
