Shanklin Voluntary Youth and Community Centre (SVYCC), known as TC's, was visited by Island High Sheriff, Graham Biss during National Volunteers' Week.
TC's offers a range of activities like disco, dance, drama, and table tennis for young people.
There is martial arts and other activities for young and older children, as well as community events for 'older' members, such as the Thursday Club.
It was established in the 1960s and is currently working with Shanklin Youth FC on three new youth services for 2024-25, as well as preparations for the Shanklin Carnival scheduled for this summer.
High Sheriff Graham Biss said: "It was a vibrant and fun evening, with Mark and the team of dedicated volunteers providing an invaluable and brilliant service - and the Sweet Caroline finish was uplifting."
Leader Mark Biddlecombe said: "The members, and volunteers, appreciated the time Graham gave to all that goes on at the centre and we are all now a part of 'Team GB!"
