Volunteers have been exploring Appley Tower's history as part of its restoration project.
Their findings, documented in a research report by Ken Dueck, are being shared in exhibitions at Brading Roman Villa until May 29 and Ryde Library from June 3 to 13.
Volunteers are sought for tower-guiding, with training provided before the tower reopens in summer.
Interested individuals can email rachael.ardley@naturalenterprise for more details.
Natural Enterprise Chairman, Brian Friend, said understanding Appley Tower's history brings it to life and illustrates Ryde's past and heritage importance.
Restorations should conclude by the end of July, when Monkton Arts will launch an art gallery and provide free tower access.
