ONE OF Southampton Football Club's most popular players in the modern era, Rickie Lambert, will be making a welcome return to the Isle of Wight later this month.

The Saints' goal-scoring favourite will be appearing in conversation with radio broadcaster, Adam Blackmore, for a unique evening at The Sugar Store, Shepards Marina, Cowes, on Friday, June 28.

Rickie, who starred in the recent charity 'Legends' match between Saints favourites and a select Island team, will be reminiscing over his incredible career, and storytelling.

He played 207 times for Southampton, scoring 106 goals, as well as Liverpool and England.

Delve into Rickie's 'ultimate 11', hear first-hand stories from the changing rooms and participate in a Q and A session that "promises to bring you closer-than-ever to the action".

Tickets include a VIP meet-and-greet option, with the chance to have a signed picture with Rickie.

The event starts at 7.30pm.
