Isle of Wight based property developer, Meadow View Contractors Ltd, has won the 2024 Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Warranty Bricks award, for high standards of workmanship and site management.

Earlier this year, Meadow View Contractors won a site recognition award and entered the race for overall winner.

It scooped the 2024 award for Cordelia Gardens, which is a development off Place Road in Cowes, alongside Penwood Developments Limited.

Managing director, Roy Churchill, said: "We are delighted to win the Bricks Development of the year award.

"I am especially pleased for our staff working on the site, as this award is a recognition of their hard work, professionalism and expertise."

The award scores construction crews on health and safety standards, workmanship, site tidiness and site management.

LABC Warranty’s risk management surveyors have been carrying out regular inspections of the firm's building sites, in Cowes and also in Bembridge.

Meadow View Contractors was set up in 2020 and is responsible for some of the new developments on the Island.

As well as the Cowes site, it is the firm behind development at Steyne Road in Bembridge.
