AN ISLE of Wight man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an elderly woman in Ryde has been bailed until September, police have confirmed.
The 59-year-old, from Lake, was arrested following reports of an unexplained death at an address on Wood Street in Ryde.
Police had been alerted by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service at around 1.10pm on Saturday, June 15.
The man, who lives on Newcomen Road, has been bailed until September 15 while police enquiries are ongoing.
