Isle of Wight Festival 2024 has finally arrived and thousands of music fans are preparing to make their way to the Island.

Once arriving, thoughts will no doubt turn to how to get to Seaclose Park, Newport - the home of the festival (especially if you're carrying camping gear!)

If you're planning on travelling by bus, Southern Vectis is running a number of shuttle services.

From the Ferry Ports

From Yarmouth

There are regular shuttle buses on Thursday/Friday/Monday from Yarmouth or festival goers can get on the route 7 to Newport bus station and then a shuttle bus from there direct into the site.

From Cowes

For those arriving via Red Jet, you can catch regular shuttle buses from Carvel Lane (a 2-minute walk from ferry). They will meet most arrivals and departures.

From East Cowes

For vehicle ferry Red Funnel users, shuttle buses meet most arrivals and departures, from Castle Street.

From Ryde Esplanade

If arriving via Wightlink's FastCat or HoverTravel Wightlink, shuttle buses operate up to every 10 minutes, from Ryde Transport Interchange.

All you have to do is follow the arrows (and crowds!)

Prices of shuttle buses

For adults catching a shuttle service one-way to or from the festival site from any port, it will cost £9.50.

A return is £16, or a Weekend ticket is £48.

A full list of prices can be found below.

From Newport

A shuttle bus service will operate between Church Litten (near Morrisons) in Newport direct into the festival bus station.

Buses are due to operate at regular intervals from early until late Thursday to Sunday.

Normal bus services

The normal route 9 between Ryde and Newport will operate but solely via Staplers, and not via Fairlee or the festival site.

Festival goers will be able to use the special 9F service that will operate throughout the time that the normal route 9 is not operating via Fairlee.

The 9F, which costs £5 for an adult single and £8.50 return, will operate from John Street, Ryde.

Other services are also running throughout the festival weekend and can be found HERE.

ALL festival buses are cashless this year.

All tickets can be purchased from the bus driver on any shuttle bus or Southern Vectis service.

They can also be purchased on the Southern Vectis app.
