The body of man in his 60s was found at an address in Ryde on the Isle of Wight earlier this week, leading to a police response.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to a property on Warwick Street on Wednesday, June 19.
Officers said they were alerted to reports of a sudden death at 12.43pm.
A man in his 60s was confirmed to have died at the scene.
His family are aware.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report is being filed with the coroner, the force added.
