ISLE of Wight emergency service teams are dealing with a crash on Sandown High Street this afternoon (Friday).

Firefighters are among those in attendance, near the junction with York Road.

The road was blocked for a time but traffic is once again flowing, albeit slower than usual.

Firefighters are currently inspecting a blue Toyota which has sustained some front-end damage.

Police were alerted at around 4.20pm to a collision involving two vehicles.

One person has reported a minor injury.
