Isle of Wight ferry firm Red Funnel plans to delay one of its late-night vehicle ferry sailings tonight (Saturday) – to accommodate music fans heading home from Southampton.
The Let’s Rock Southampton music event is in full flow today, at Southampton Common.
Many Islanders have travelled over for the much-loved event, which runs until 10pm.
Human League are headlining, and the line-up also includes Isle of Wight band Level 42, who always draw a large crowd.
To accommodate as many music fans as possible travelling home, Red Funnel says it will delay its 11.59 sailing from Southampton by approximately 35 minutes.
