Two Isle of Wight golf club members took on an extraordinary 100-hole challenge earlier this week (Monday, July 15).

Cowes Golf Club members Conran Myles and James Leek battled the horrendous weather conditions to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

The duo played an impressive 100 holes of golf, covering nearly 36 miles in the process.

Starting their marathon round at 4am, Conran and James played non-stop until 8pm, persevering through the rain and wind.

By the end of the gruelling day, both golfers were exhausted, drenched and nursing very sore feet,

The efforts were part of the Big Golf Race, a fundraising event aimed at supporting Prostate Cancer UK.

The initiative seeks to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research, which affects one in eight men in the UK.

On the pair’s GoFundMe, Conran and James expressed gratitude for the support they received and the importance of the cause they have championed.

"Your donation will help fund lifesaving research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner. Thank you for your support," they said.
