An Isle of Wight woman missing from her home in Newport has been found, police have confirmed.
As previously reported by the County Press, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was appealing for information to find Linda Smith, 79.
She was last seen leaving her home address in Newport, at 8.30am, two days ago.
They have now confirmed she has been found.
"Thank you for sharing our appeal", a force spokesperson said.
