The best and worst GP surgeries on the Isle of Wight have been revealed, according to what patients think.

From how easy it is to get through on the phone to how helpful the receptionist was, Islanders have been sharing how they feel their local practice is performing.

Data comes from the national, annual GP survey, carried out by NHS England and Ipsos.

It also ranks how 'good' patients felt their overall experience of the GP practice was.

On the Island, only an average of 112 surveys were completed across the 12 surgeries here.

The survey found that, on their last appointment, 99 per cent of Argyll House (Ryde) patients felt their needs were met. At Ventnor Medical Practice and The Bay Medical Centre, only 13 per cent had an appointment on the same day.
