At Northwood House in Cowes, on Friday, July 5, students celebrated the end of their GCSE exams after an academic year of hard work and effort.
The grey overcast skies did not dampen the spirits and the rain held off until all of the students had made their grand entrances.
Students enjoyed mocktails on arrival, a buffet by Oasis Catering and the disco provided by Trevor Cook at Wight Disco.
The evening was an opportunity for students to let their hair down and spend time with friends and peers who they may not see again for some time on the 360 photobooth, the dance floor and, when the weather was permitting, in the garden.
The luxurious surroundings proved the perfect backdrop for our photos by photographer Paul Blackley.
A spokesperson from Christ the King College said: "Despite the challenges of experiencing two national lockdowns, the class of 2024 have shown great resilience and commitment to their studies and have completed this stage of their education and for some their time at Christ the King College, showing great maturity and composure which we as staff and their parents are extremely proud of.
"We are looking forward to seeing them all in August to further celebrate their success and to wish them the best of luck in all that they do."
