All things garlic will be celebrated this weekend as the annual Garlic Festival returns to Newchurch.
Taking place from August 17 to August 18 at the Fighting Cocks Crossroad, organisers are promising ‘garlicky summer fun for the whole family.’
Make sure you take your camera when you meet Titan the Robot and children’s TV pup, Bluey, who will make an appearance at regular intervals over the two day festival.
Michelin Guide mentioned chef, Sean Jeffers, will cook live in the theatre kitchen at midday on both days.
Performing on the live music stage will be The Missing, Emellia, Hanging Baskets, The Hornets, The Ohmz, Texus, X Directory, Mr Mojo, Foo Fighterz and Pink Lemonade.
Providing some daredevil entertainment, the MBE BMX Team will perform stunts with their troupe of world champions and Guinness World Record holders.
Plenty of garlic related food options are available including bread and scones.
