Thousands of scooterists are preparing to make their way to the Isle of Wight for the return of what's been called 'the world's biggest scooter rally'.
Each year, over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the event attracts hoards of riders and 2024 is no exception.
Scooterists will set up camp at Sandown Airport, where there will be an entertainment area with live music.
The campsite opens at midday on Thursday, August 22 and closes at the same time on Monday, August 26. You can pay on the gate and tickets are cash only.
On Sunday, August 25, scooterists will take part in the famous ride-out.
Setting off at 1pm from the former ice rink in Ryde, riders will head towards Puckpool, Nettlestone and St Helens, then along Latimer Road to Bembridge.
From there, they will head to Yaverland, through Sandown High Street, Shanklin, Apse Heath before arriving back at Sandown Airport.
Up to 10,000 scooterists are expected to descend on the Island, between August 22 and August 26.
The Isle of Wight Scooter Rally is an official BSRA (British Scooter Rallies Association) rally, with the official campsite and entertainment organised by VFM.
There are also many independent events run by scooterists and local venues.
There will be plenty of live music in both Ryde and Sandown over the course of the weekend.
