Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for information following a collision involving a motorbike and a tractor in Adgestone. 

Police were called shortly after 7pm following reports of a collision on Lower Road.

Officers confirmed that the crash involved a Yamaha R125 and a tractor, which was towing a trailer.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
