An Island couple say they are "thrilled" having taken over the running of a popular Isle of Wight pub.
Anita and Ray, who live in Niton, are now at the helm of their village pub, The White Lion, in the High Street.
Anita has been working at the pub since September 2023, as a "valued" member of the team.
Now, as a manager, she is determined to learn everything she can about the business, from restaurant to rooms.
A post on the pub's Facebook page said: "Anita and Ray are a local Niton couple who are now taking on the their next venture of managing The White Lion and are extremely eager to share their passion for hospitality and food.
"We are so excited about this new managing pair and we encourage you to pop in and pay them a visit if you have not already done so."
To kick off the new tenure, the pub reintroduced its famous quiz nights from Thursday, August 29.
Going forward, they will take place at 8pm, every last Thursday of the month.
The pub also hosted a BBQ on Saturday, where a selection of tasty meats were available, the pub said.
