A new mobile oil filter rig is set to revolutionise engine maintenance.
Island business IOW Group has launched 'Mobi', a portable system allowing engineers to clean multiple engines with one unit.
Traditionally, centrifugal filters, which remove contaminants from lubrication oil, are fixed to single engines.
Mobi, however, can be easily connected and disconnected, providing the same cleaning quality as a fixed filter but with added flexibility.
Once an engine's oil is cleaned, Mobi can be moved to another location, offering convenience and reduced maintenance costs.
The new product is expected to appeal to industries with large fleets of engines, such as marine, power generation, and heavy equipment operations.
The system can be installed quickly, minimising downtime and ensuring engines run at peak performance.
IOW Group, known for its advanced filtration solutions, says Mobi demonstrates its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.
Brett Nicholls, managing director at IOW Group, said: "Our goal with Mobi was to create a product that not only meets the demands of engine maintenance but also offers our clients a new level of versatility.
"With Mobi, organizations can now maintain their engines more efficiently, without needing to invest in multiple fixed centrifugal filters."
