Members of the Isle of Wight's Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat crew have been awarded King Charles III Coronation Medals to honour their service.
The medals were presented by the Island High Sheriff, Graham Biss BEM, in a ceremony at Sandown's Broadway Centre, attended by the crew's friends and family.
The medals, commemorating the King's coronation, recognise the contributions of members of frontline emergency services, with a minimum requirement of five years' service.
Among the recipients were coxswain Mark Birch, with 31 years of service, and Stephen Woodham, with 24 years.
Mark Birch said: "It's been a challenging time for the team, with damage to our slipway home and our tractor, but it is an honour for all of the crew, to be recognised in this way."
Others include David Howes, with 23 years; Daren Sands, with 27 years; and several others with varying years of service.
Earlier this year, the Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat Crew also received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The coronation medals add another recognition of the crew's dedication to their service.
