On the Island, many people have to use their cars to get to work.
Being asked to pay to do so is intrinsically unjust. To be asked suddenly to pay several times more is far worse.
Either the managers and directors of St Mary's Hospital arrange transport for their vital workers, or they themselves pay for all the parking, instead of the doctors and nurses.

They would soon change the system if they were the ones who had to pay.
It is the doctors and nurses who matter, not that riff raff at the top.
