There have been many reports locally and nationally about the latest scam, which has been reported on the Isle of Wight.

The text you receive purports to be from the DVSA telling you that you have a parking
penalty and if you don’t pay your fine on time you may be banned from driving.

It also says you may have to pay an increased fee or could even be taken to court.

It asks you to click on a link and enter your car registration before making the payment.
