SINCE making Isle of Wight athletics history by breaking the four-minute mile at the prestigious Emsley Carr Mile in May, elite runner Henry McLuckie has now repeated the feat twice more with two top runs.
The 20-year-old’s run in May earned him a start line berth at the Cork International in Ireland, up against a quality European field.
In a very fast race, Henry finished a strong fourth with a superb PB of 3.57.89.
At the Dave Clarke Evening of Miles in Wimbledon, which followed, Henry ran the A race, winning it in 3.58.49.
Henry is now training for events next month and in September.
