JUST seven weeks after competing in the Isle of Wight's first mixed martial arts (MMA) event, the Island Fight League, winning the flyweight title, Will Perrin has claimed himself another championship crown.
Back in June, Will became the Island's first-ever MMA champion, representing Ryde-based Brotherhood MMA.
Looking to progress his career as a mixed martial arts fighter, Will accepted the challenge of another title fight with less than a month's notice, at the 20th Supreme Championships, in Bournemouth, on Saturday.
Team Brotherhood MMA travelled to Dorset to cheer on the 21-year-old, still in the very early stages of his fight career.
Will, up against a skilled opponent in Joe Patterson, of Olympians MMA in Bristol, he completely dominated the opening round.
He then went on to win the fight by knock-out in the second round, to claim the flyweight title, his second belt.
Plans are already being drawn up for more competitive fights.
