A lifelong Southampton FC fan from the Isle of Wight, who died last weekend, is to be honoured with a standing ovation at St Mary's Stadium, on Saturday.
Season ticket holder Tom Dreyer, who had cancer, passed away aged 32.
There will be a round of applause, lasting one minute, in the 32nd minute of Saints' clash with Sheffield Wednesday, tomorrow.
The honour was supported on social media by former player, Saints legend Jason Dodd.
Tom had faced many health battles, including a hole in his heart, but it never stopped him watching his beloved team.
His funeral will be inspired by the football team he loved, with the men who were closest to him wearing Saints shirts.
His coffin will be carried in to the sound of team anthem, When the Saints Go Marching In.
Tom was a popular member of the IW charity, The Way Forward, which said he would be very much missed.
On Facebook, the team wrote: "It is with heavy hearts that we learnt of the passing of Tom.
"Tom was a larger than life character with a heart of gold and wicked sense of humour. Always went out of his way to help others."
Tom played the pantomime dame in some of The Way Forward's theatre shows and the charity said he would be missed.
