Yarmouth's Taittinger Royal Solent Yacht Club Regatta returns, between Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14.

Organisers say there will be racing and a busy and varied schedule of onshore social events.

On shore events will include the Champagne Taittinger Reception, on the RSYC’s lawns, on the Friday.

The Saturday will feature Wightwood Pizza and music from Towers Party, as well as fireworks.

In its charity prize draw, Champagne Taittinger will be giving away a flight in the Taittinger hot air balloon, plus a Champagne picnic.

There will also be the Edelweiss and Gurgl Hotel prize draw, for the winning boats in each class, featuring a seven-night stay in the Austrian Alps.

Over 100 entries were confirmed in the first two weeks of the event’s online registration being open and there are early bird discounts until May 31.
