VENTNOR booked their place in the regional finals of the Voneus Village Cup with a comfortable midweek win over Calmore Sports.
The Islanders will take on Hambledon at Ridge Meadow on Sunday, June 9.
They progressed to the final by beating Calmore Sports at Steephill on Monday - a 41-run win.
Batting first, knocks of 45 from Henry Bartlett and 50 from Martin Blackman were key as the home team posted a total of 171.
Dan Cox and Zach Wells (2-13) made early breakthroughs, and further wickets fell to Hugh Calloway (3-27), before Cox returned the attack to finish with 4-20 and dismiss the New Forest side for 129.
Over in the Southern Premier League, Ventnor suffered their first league loss at the hands of Old Tauntionians & Romsey at the weekend.
The hosts beat Ventnor by 50 runs at the Romsey Sports Centre.
Dan Cox (2-39) and teenagers Will Mew and Thomas Southcott impressed on the ball, limiting the hosts to 189.
The Islanders struggled against the hosts' predominantly spin attack.
A fine innings of 78 from Dineth Thimodya kept Ventnor in the game, before the Sri Lankan's dismissal opened the door for a home victory with eight overs remaining.
In Division One, Ryde's game against Hayling Islands was cancelled, while in Division Three, Ventnor's second team lost by just two runs.
They faced off against Southampton Community at Steephill.
Set to score a challenging 259 from 45 overs (Sam Read 2-27, Chris Russell 3-46, Archie Lucy 2-59), a splendid knock of 102 from Ben Attrill led the way with support from Martin Blackman with 52.
After their departure and despite late order contributions from Chris Russell, Gary Legg and Jack Powell, the home side finished agonisingly short of their target.
Fellow Division Three side, Shanklin & Godshill, meanwhile, beat Bashley by four wickets.
Shanklin won the toss and elected to field first, with Jack White (4-33) and Nathan Moore (2-34) limiting Bashley to 212-9.
Olly Niemiec (59) and Ben White (33) were the pick of the batsmen as the Islanders hit 213 with six wickets to spare.
Over in Division Four, Ryde II put Fair Oak to the sword - winning by 140 runs.
Ryde won the toss and elected to bat first, posting an unassailable 215-5, with Ashley Goldsmith (48) and Ben Gregory (39) doing most of the damage.
Goldsmith (6-8) tormented the Fair Oak batsmen, with Kensei Parker (2-15) also bowling well.
The pair limited the opposition to a measly 75.
In the Island League, Freshwater conceded to Newport, while Northwood hammered Shanklin and Godshill II.
Northwood won the toss and elected to bat first, hitting 308-6, thanks in large part to Chris Williams (76), John Jones (69), David Neal (47) and Gary Cooper (34).
Shanklin & Godshill had a mountain to climb, and Steve Priddle (34) led the charge, but strong bowling from Cooper (4-19), Williams (2-3) and Simon Goldsmith (3-13) limited them to just 70.
An excellent unbeaten half century from Charlie Turpin and 29 from Michael Compton clinched an impressive five wicket win for Ventnor III against St Helens.
The promising teenage attack of Rafe Hawkins with 3-8 and Harrison McQuillan with 2-17 restricted the village side to 125 all out.
Finally, in Island League Division Two, Newport got the better of Northwood, winning by 56 runs.
Newport won the toss and elected to bat, and it was Steven Steinmetz (36) who impressed the most.
Northwood's Nick Stafford (3-31) and Neil Redmond (2-14) did well to limit the opposition, but Newport's Aaron Hartup 3-23 and Alfie Pease 3-23 responded in kind.
Newport hit 145-8 while Northwood's reply was restricted to 89-9.
