STEER (Jeannette Ann "Jenny") Jeannette Steer formerly of Newport, Isle of Wight, is finally marrying Leonard Charles Allbrighton 60 yrs. after first meeting and getting engaged and going through marriages with others. They both now live in Stevenage, Hertfordshire where they are getting Wed on 11th February, 2023. Both were pupil nurses at St.Mary's Hospital and both went on to have nursing careers. Leonard went to Australia to make a home for Jenny but her parents refused to let her go so 52 yrs. later Len looked her up and found her and husbands address and then three years later after Jenny's husband, John, had died they got together finally.
