If the measure of a man is how good his children are, then I owe Alf a debt of gratitude for giving me a lifelong best friend. My memories of Alf are a blur, as the man himself was. Rushing around to look after his kids or off for a pint at the Social . RIP Alf. My condolences to Neil, Deb and Hazel. X
