A single new case of coronavirus has been added to the Isle of Wight's overall case number today (Sunday).

There have now been 6,791 cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic, in March 2020.

The Island's rolling average of cases per 100,000 people, in the seven days to April 20, was 13.4.

Current figures do not include fast-result lateral flow positive tests that were not subsequently confirmed by a PCR test.

Meanwhile, most Islanders aged over 45 have now received their first Covid-19 vaccination.

The next step in the roadmap out of lockdown is due to happen on May 17.
