THE Isle of Wight has recorded one further Covid case in the latest Government update today (Sunday).

It takes the number of cases this week (since Monday) to 14.

There have now been 6,805 positive coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The Island's rolling average of cases per 100,000 people, in the seven days to April 26, now stands at 9.2.

Current figures do not include positive results from fast-result lateral flow tests, if they were not subsequently confirmed by a PCR test.
