STAFF at the Isle of Wight Edinburgh Woollen Mill (EWM) store on the outskirts of Lake are celebrating after the company came out of administration.

The Newport Road branch has subsequently renewed its lease and will continue trading at the Honnor and Jeffrey garden centre.

Emma Bradley, who works at the centre, said: "We have a lovely small team of myself, Mary and Julie. Mary and I have been here since the store opened in 2016 and know all the regulars.

"Now the high street branches have unfortunately closed, we want to give a friendly wave to let people know that we’re still here on the Island.

"Please feel free to check us out for all your EWM needs. We have deliveries every week and a lot of lovely new stock."

The store will trade from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.

The on-site Teddy Bear cafe – known for its cheese scones – will also be opening when government guidelines permit.
