Broadband outages across large parts of Island - Sky says for ten hours
SKY customers are without broadband tonight, due to planned maintenance.
Although many customers seemed unaware, according to complaints across social media about the loss of service, planned maintenance is being Tweeted by Sky as an explanation of why services are affected.
Sky said: "PLanned maintenance Isle of Wight: Due to essential maintenance, customers in the above area will experience a complete loss of Fibre, Broadband and Talk services for approximately ten hours."
It is expected from 8pm to 6am tomorrow morning.
