THE Island’s first football golf course has opened at Tapnell Farm this week – in time for England's final group game tonight (Tuesday).
For those who haven’t played before, football golf uses the same rules as regular golf but instead of using a club, players take turns to kick a ball into the hole, using the fewest kicks possible to score.
The course at Tapnell has two nine hole options; a short course with a range of fun obstacles and a nine hole long course to test your durability. Players can combine the two to play the full 18 holes.
Located on a hill, there is the added bonus of stunning countryside and sea views as you play the course.
As well as the Island’s first football golf course, Tapnell is home to the Island’s only outdoor aqua park/farm park attraction. It also offers a range of activities such as archery, axe throwing and clay pigeon shooting.
Visitors are encouraged to book activity sessions online in advance – including any desired meals at The Cow Restaurant onsite.
