AN ART exhibition is bringing a variety of mediums to Quarr Abbey over the next few days.

The summer exhibition features work from artists Jeanne Mills-Holland, Justine Mills - Jeanne's daughter - and Margaret Blamey.

It will will run daily from 10am to 5pm until Tuesday August 3. Admission is free.

The trio are united by an expression of their appreciation of nature: landscape, seascape and the flora and fauna that inhabits the spaces.

Jeanne studied, practised and taught art during her professional life and has continued to explore her creativity during retirement.

Margaret’s mixed media artwork is inspired by the Island's environment and nature. She combines creative techniques and uses contrasting materials to create textured representations of the world she sees around her.

Justine creates stylised representations of the animals that made an impression on her during her travels. The pieces are built separately as hollow forms and their supporting structures.

The artists will be in attendance at the exhibition and a percentage of all sales go to Quarr Abbey, a registered charity.
