A man has suffered head injuries and Isle of Wight police are investigating reports of an assault in Sandown.

Hampshire Constabulary says its officers were called to a bus stop on Victoria Road just before 9.30pm, on Tuesday.

Police say the man's injuries are not life-threatening.
